Golf Vacation Packages
Attention all you golfers out there! I have been working on golf vacation packages recently to Myrtle Beach, Biloxi, South Florida and Arizona. If your interested in putting together a package, please send me an email with your contact information and what your interested in to mike@cruise-escapes.com. I'll contact you and we'll get started planning your outing. Oh, and of course, as always you can ask me about the golfing on the islands. Nothing better than sailing in between rounds.
PASSPORT & BIRTH CERTIFICATE INFORMATION
Reminder: Starting January 23rd, 2007 you had to have a passport for flying only. The cruise portion has been pushed back to a future date. OUR ADVICE, get your passport anyway. If for any reason you need to fly back to the United States you will need a passport even if you left on a ship. Please don't wait until the last minute to get your passport or you will not be a happy cruiser. Allow for ten to twelve weeks to get your passport!! If you would like to know more, please visit .travel.state.gov/travel/cbpmc/cbpmc_2223.html .
Don't have your Birth, Marriage or Divorce certificate? Well now you can order a state certified one online from www.vitalchek.com . They offer online purchase for most states and contact numbers for all states. They also service British Columbia, Canada. Remember, we are not affiliated with www.vitalchek.com and can't guarantee any of their services. However, we've read good things about the site and it was referred to us by our corporate office. We just thought we'd pass this site on to all of you in need of this information.
First Time Cruisers Tip of the Month
HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON ONBOARD
THE SHIP, OR FIND OUT ABOUT SHORE EXCURSIONS?
There will be all kinds of "goodies" about this in your cabin when you arrive and prior to sailing is a good time to explore and get your bearings as to where the dining room, gym, lounges ect. are located. There will be a daily program of activities put in your cabin each night for the next day. For first timers I suggest you attend the "shore excursion talk" or at least part of it, and the debarkation talk, both of which will be listed on the daily program, these are very informative and all the cruise directors do a pretty good job of making the fun.
"Also Note" that "shore excursions" should be booked as soon as you arrive on the ship. They do tend to sell out the more popular ones first. Some cruise lines will allow you to book "shore excursions" right through your TV in your cabin. This will save time. This procedure is available only on a few cruise lines.
Most cruise lines offer you the opportunity to book your shore excursions ahead of time on their websites. All you have to have is your reservation number. It's a good idea to book in advance any shore excursions that you really want to go on before they sell out.
Serving you 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday - Saturday.
